MY DESIGN PROCESS

111
IDEAS
We start by outlining the goals and the requirements for your project. Early ideas can then be brainstormed and background research can begin.

222
VISUALS
Ideas start to be visualized and different creative directions can be explored. Feedback on these concepts help to guide the project.

333
DESIGN
When we’ve found the right idea it’s time to bring the design to life in a digital format. Development continues with all of the project goals in mind.

444
COMPLETION & DELIVERY
One final round of revisions brings the project to completion. Artwork is then promptly delivered to you in the format of your choice.

Profile-272

My name is Paul Heaton.  I’m a Tokyo-based graphic designer and illustrator who enjoys solving visual problems.  Like a lot of creatives I was drawn toward Japan because of its unique visual culture.  I feel inspired every day that I’m in this country, and I pour this creativity into branding projects, magazine layouts, brochures, stationery, and illustration.

I’ve picked up many skills from my degree course at Birmingham University and my stints at design agencies in England and Japan.  But by far the most important thing I’ve learned is that designers should work and communicate directly with their clients, without any middlemen.  This approach simplifies the creative process, and proves to be more successful every time. Feel free to contact me to discuss your latest design project.
