I've been a regular contributor to Tokyo Notice Board since 2008, writing about the latest events around the city, restaurant reviews, and exhibition previews. The articles don't get archived online, but you can read a selection of them here. Some of my favourites: a review of Ivan Ramen, John Lurie's You Are Here exhibition, and a preview for the annual Summersonic festival.

Tokyo Art Beat is the best bilingual guide to the city's art scene. I joined their writing staff in summer 2010.
[One] Ritsuko Yamashita's self-titled exhibition at the hpgrp Gallery in Omotesando.
[Two] Shinjuko's biggest exhibition to date at Parabolica-bis in Asakusa.
[Three] Masahiko Sato's 'Definition of Self' exhibition at 21_21 Design Sight in Roppongi.

For the March issue of Tokyo Families I took a trip to Utsunomiya, to see if there was more to Tochigi than their trademark gyoza. Stops along the way included Kayabuki, (Japan's only monkey izakaya) Tochinoki Family Land and Utsunomiya Castle. Read the full article here.
